Simpson Superyachts announced as patron of Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit 2024

Simpson Superyachts, an affiliate division of the Simpson Marine Group, has been announced as the patron for the first edition of the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit, which is due to take place in Spring 2024.

Founded in 1984 in Hong Kong by Mike Simpson, the Simpson Marine Group is one of Asia's leading international yacht dealership, brokerage and service companies and is considered to have played a pioneering role in the development of the yachting industry in Asia. 

The company possesses its own Superyacht Division based in Hong Kong and Charter Division with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand. The Simpson Superyachts division recently appointed James Clayton as Director of Sales from his prior role as the General Manager of Benetti Americas.

The Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit is due to take place in Hong Kong for two days in Spring 2024, with the goal of developing the Asian superyacht market in a bid to attract more yachts to the region.

SuperYacht Times is already successfully organising a similar event in the Middle East, the Gulf Superyacht Summit. The two events will complement each other, as both regions benefit from more yachts travelling eastwards and will focus on burgeoning regions for the superyacht industry.

The Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit will offer the opportunity for key decision-makers from different Asian regions and global superyacht industry professionals to meet. Discussions will focus on the development of Asia as a superyacht cruising destination and how to get more Asian clients interested in the construction, purchase, and charter of yachts.
