The superyacht’s interior design was also developed by Officina Italiana Design, with warm, smooth colours combining with white, beige, taupe and browns, resulting in an elegant, cosy and breezy feeling. A signature feature by Sanlorenzo, a floating staircase, is built from glass and white marble from the prestigious Carrara marble cave.Designed by Officina Italiana Design, the 52Steel features a longer aft deck than her predecessor, which features a gorgeous and large pool with a glass bottom. There is also a spacious bow lounge in the front, featuring comfortable seatings and tables by Paola Lenti.
One of the technological highlights and challenges of the yacht is the ground-breaking aft section on the main deck, a solution introduced by the Technical Department of Sanlorenzo Superyacht division, that includes a large swimming pool on the main deck with a fully transparent floor that allows natural light to filter into the beach club below. The pool is also equipped with a Jacuzzi and counter-current swimming options. The stunning beach club below features two folding terraces, one on each side of the yacht, serving as platforms with direct access to the sea.
The same beach club area can be quickly transformed into a garage, with a controlled flooding system, for the storage of a tender up to 8 meters in length. This part of the boat also houses a fully equipped, customised gym for its owner.
As the name suggests, this yacht is constructed with a full-displacement steel hull, which is renowned for stability, comfort and safe seakeeping. Powered by twin 3512C Caterpillar engines, the 52Steel will have a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots.
The Sanlorenzo 52Steel offers accommodation for 12 guests in five rooms, spread out over one master, two double berths and two twin rooms, with two Pullman berths as well. There is plentiful room for the entire family to come along on any adventure. Currently three other 52Steel are in built in La Spezia facility.
