Fuel SystemFuel System (650)
- Fuel is stored in two dedicated tanks (1 x daily service tank and 1 x (optional) main tank) integral ith hull structure complete with permanently open vent lines (note: all tanks should not be filled bove 95%)
- Main engines and generators draw and return from fittings on the day tank located within the engine room
- Bunkering to both tanks through individual filling stations, port and starboard each fitted with a 2” fitting for filling and venting
- Fuel level indication - displayed at main helm and fill
- Accurate fuel monitoring via Tank Volume Computer with digital bar-graph display at main helm and analogue indication at fill
- Warning lights indication at 75% & 95% at fuel filling station

Fire main/Fire Extinguishing SystemFire Main System (635)
- The fire main system and the emergency bilge system share the AC, engine driven and the portable diesel pumps.
- Primary fire hydrant (default) pump - centrifugal type - 400V AC - self-priming - capacity 45m3/hr @ 10m head - operated via switches located on the port side electrical panel within the engine room and in the fire hydrant locker. This pump will supply 2 fire hydrants positioned to cover all areas of the vessel.
- Fire fighting equipment provided at fire hydrant point (sited in a fire locker) c/w fire hose and nozzle with instantaneous connections and quick release valves.
- Secondary pump - (main) engine driven - self-priming - capacity 18.5m/hr at 650rpm – electrically operated clutch powered from both the domestic and starboard battery bank. Clutch engaged via switches located on the port side electrical panel within the engine room and in the fire hydrant locker
- Pipe for all above systems to be a mixture of Cupro-nickel press type, Parker 421 SN (low pressure) non-metallic and flexible PVC hose (with spiral helix)
